Всем привет!
Попробовал я на SCO+9.21.UC1 использовать
"Automatic backup of logical logs" в файл:

набираю
"ontape -a"

получаю
"Performing automatic backup of logical logs."
"Please mount tape 1 on log.bak and press Return to continue ... "

набираю
"<Enter>"

получаю
"Do you want to back up the current logical log? (y/n) "

набираю
"n<Enter>"

получаю
"Please label this tape as number 1 in the log tape sequence. "
"This tape contains the following logical logs: "
"    46"
"Program over."

А вот если набираю:
"echo '\n' | ontape -a"

То получаю:
"Performing automatic backup of logical logs."
"Please mount tape 1 on /local/informix/lvo/log.bak and press Return to
continue ... "
"Do you want to back up the current logical log? (y/n) Logbackup failed -  "
"Please label this tape as number 1 in the log tape sequence. "
"This tape contains the following logical logs: "
"    48"
"Program over."

Как можно догадаться, больше всего меня волнует сообщение
в третьей строке - "Logbackup failed". Кто может объяснить,
что бы это значило?
