"DBBLOBBUF is a performance enhancement for SQL UNLOAD statements that allows the user to configure a BLOB cache maximum size which circumvents the the writes/reads to the temp storage space.
This same functionality needs to be incorporated into the BLOB and DESCR unload (optical BLOBs) of dbexport."
